1. Acceptance of the terms
By using this site or requesting a transfer through it, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The site is operated by Alejandro Manuel Vera under the trade name Taxis en Iguazú. We may update these terms: the current version is the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
If you accept, the site measures its use with Google Analytics. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the “Privacy and measurement settings” link in the footer; the details are in the Privacy Policy.
2. What Taxis en Iguazú does
Taxis en Iguazú is a site that connects passengers with independent drivers. It does not provide the transport service and is not a party to the transfer contract between the passenger and the driver.
When you tap an enquiry button, the site takes you to the WhatsApp of an independent driver, assigned in turn among the available drivers. For groups of 7 or more, the assigned driver arranges with you whatever alternative is needed, for example another vehicle.
3. What you agree with the driver
The price, availability, schedule, route, payment method, cancellation and any particular condition of the transfer are agreed directly between you and the driver. Information on the site is for guidance only and is not an offer or a fare.
4. A WhatsApp inquiry is not a booking
An inquiry on WhatsApp is not, by itself, a booking and does not guarantee availability. The transfer is only agreed once you and the driver confirm it between yourselves.
At any given moment there may be no drivers available for the option you chose; if so, the site tells you.
5. Your responsibilities as a passenger
- Provide correct and complete information about your transfer (date, time, meeting point, number of passengers, luggage, flight).
- Carry the documents needed for any border crossing: an ID or passport and any authorization or permit required by the authorities of Argentina, Brazil or Paraguay, including authorizations for minors. Information on the site about crossings is for guidance only: confirm the current requirements with the authorities and with the driver.
- Do not use the site with automated programs or to make false or repeated requests. To protect the site we use Cloudflare Turnstile and request limits, and we may reject requests that look abusive.
6. Responsibility of the drivers
Each independent driver is responsible for actually providing the transfer, for their vehicle, for holding the permits, licenses and insurance that apply, and for complying with the applicable rules, including traffic and transport rules and, on international crossings, customs and immigration rules.
7. Our responsibility
Taxis en Iguazú is responsible for how the site works and for handling your data in line with the Privacy Policy. It is not responsible for carrying out the transfer, which is up to the driver, or for what you and the driver agree between yourselves.
We aim to keep the site running continuously, but there may be interruptions or errors. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you, including consumer protection rules, or excludes liability that cannot be excluded.
If you had a problem with a transfer, you can write to us at taxiseniguazu@gmail.com. Where possible, Taxis en Iguazú may facilitate communication between the passenger and the driver. This does not mean that Taxis en Iguazú provides the transfer or assumes responsibility for its performance.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to the rights that consumer protection rules give you, including the determination of the competent court.
